About the organization

 

Micro Actions for Development (MAD) is a serial social entrepreneurship organization in India. We work upon designing, developing and demonstrating (3D) social enterprise models to make sustainable impact on the targeted community.

 

Associate (Open to Indian Nationals only)

Location: Delhi

 

MAD is looking for a young and passionate development professional with strong work ethics and willingness to promote and establishing social enterprises.   

 

·         Qualification

o   Graduate (BBA / B.Com / B.A) / Post Graduate (MBA / M.A / PGDM) in field of rural development / Marketing / Other relevant expertise from a recognized institute.

·         Experience

o   0-3 years in implementation of development projects, prior work experience in NGO’s is prefered

·         Key Competencies – Functional

o   Strong communication skills (spoken and written) in English, Hindi

o   Proficiency in using computer (MS Office- Word, Excel, Powerpoint )

o   Knowledge of social enterprise will be an added advantage

o   Research skills in conducting research studies.

o   Ability to implement innovative and market led enterprise projects   

·         Key Competencies – Behavioral

o   People management skills, Ability to work alone on strict timelines, Negotiating skills, Ability to engage with community and market players

·         Language Competency: The candidate applying should be fluent in Hindi and English.

 

Scope of Work

 

Associate is expected to play Techno-managerial role in the PROJECT. He / She will work directly under Social Enterprise Head and Marketing and Communications Head.

·         Should be willing to conduct quantitative and qualitative research

·         Manage and coordinate with project teams

·         Participate in project implementation

·         Report to Project leader

   

Salary

MAD is an equal opportunity employer. Salary is negotiable within a range of (Rs. 5,000 – Rs. 8,000) based on the experience of candidates.
