Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE) is India’s leading business information company. Established in 1976, it straddles the entire information food-chain; from primary data collection through analytics and forecasting. It provides services to the entire spectrum of business information consumers that includes Governments, academia, financial markets, business enterprises, professionals and media. CMIE conducts the largest sample survey in the world. It is administered on households of India thrice in a year.. Recently CMIE has tied up with BSE to generate unemployment rate & consumer sentiment index at a daily basis from 1st January,2016 onwards. CMIE has already tied up with University of Michigan,early this year,who will be providing their expertise for developing the methodology for the said purpose. In view of the above, we are expanding our operations in Eastern Region. Vacancy is mentioned below: Title: Field Information Officer The Field Information Officer(FIO) is responsible for execution of survey in the region he has been assigned. A street smart personality with good convincing skill is required for this position. Following are the basic attributes required,+ Graduate and above+ Ability to handle a team+ Good Public Relation skill+ Building a team of Surveyors through recruitment & training+ Willingness to travel+ Achieving both quality & quantity in the given time frame+ Handle 5 to 6 field team member and recruit and train them. 1) Salary is at par with industry standards and is a factor of skill and experience.
2) Positions are based at West bengal only.
