justrojgar.com started YUVA-Market Aligned Skill Training (MAST) for the under-educated and under-skilled youth of Delhi slums in partnerships with Delhi Police & American India Foundation (AIF) at the Vasant Vihar Police Station, New Delhi on November 5, 2012. The skill courses include IT & ITeS Services, Housekeeping and Facility Management Services, Basic English and Work Prepardness Skills.
The programme was inaugurated by Ms. Chaya Sharma, DCP (South) along with Mr. Anil Sharma, SHO (Police Station, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi). While inaugurating the programme Ms. Sharma said that it is a great opportunity for the youth to acquire skills through YUVA-MAST programme to become employable.
On this occasion, senior officials of Delhi police; Mr. Hanumant Rawat, Director (Livelihoods), Mr. Prabhakar, Ms. Aparna and Ms. Nikita from AIF; representatives of We The People; 40 boys and girls from South Delhi slums enrolled for IT & ITeS skill training attended the event.
